Celebrity Summer Style is Casual in Denim Shirts

Denim shirts have been an enduring fashion for casual or for formal wear for decades now. Though they don’t rage as much as denim jeans do, denim shirts keep coming against odds in the fashion world, appearing in regular intervals. As a matter of fact, it seems every individual has a denim shirt in his/her closet.

As denim is timeless, denim shirts are a style considered by many people as part of their fashion sense. Men and women alike enjoy wearing denim shirts. Even kids are also sporting denim shirts. They are embraced by many as a laid-back style that tends to loosen up one’s self after a long week’s work in formal business attire. Previously, denim shirts were considered to be the fashion style of cowboy country; however, as time goes on, they have become part of urban metro wear. Women have also been sporting denim shirts with tailored-type ones that define casualness and sexiness. The tight-fitting denim shirts with copper stud buttons have always been a woman’s priced possessions.

Meanwhile, what makes denim shirts more appealing to the people is based on the mere fact that celebrities are sporting denim shirts for casual engagements and functions. For men, the likes of Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp, if they are not in their strictly formal get-up, are frequently seen with denim shirts or denim pants. Fashion icons Victoria Beckham and Madonna make themselves ooze with sexiness in denim shirts. Country singers Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Sheryl Crow also give more character to denim shirts. And seen in this photo; Alexa Chung who graces the March issue cover of British Vogue on stands now. Inside the magazine she discusses her love for denim, as she writes; “Denim is a symbol of youth, sex, rebellion and, most essentially, America,”.

Whether you are a celebrity or not, you should be aware that everything still boils down to the matters of comfort and style. You should keep in mind that true fashion sense is not a question on what is in or not, but it is more on having a character by taking comfort first over style.
