Authentic Vintage Jeans Are Fabulous!
Posted on 25. Mar, 2010 by denimgirl.

Vintage jeans are becoming an increasingly popular choice to wear and even collect. There are several vintage styles and choices available for purchase as well as big name brands. When shopping for vintage jeans it’s important to know if they are real or simulated vintage jeans- like these 7 for All Mankind Rocker in Vintage Paxton Park.
Many stores today offer jeans that have been modified to appear worn and destroyed, modified jeans can even be found online as well as recipes to make jeans appear vintage. Luckily most online sellers and stores do say what kind of jeans you are buying. If in doubt, look at the cut of the jeans and the brand name, if they are too modern looking and the brand is a recent brand they are probably modified.
Another kind of vintage jeans is similar to a vintage and new jean crossbreed, you get modern jeans in any cut you prefer, but the buttons and rivets are from actual vintage jeans. This is great for the comfort you enjoy with the new jean styles available while still giving an authentic vintage feel.
Then of course there are authentic vintage jeans that can be found at specialty stores and online. These are the real deal, original cuts and styles from bygone eras all the way back to the 1930′s in some cases. These jeans can be Wranglers, Lee, Navdungaree, and Levi’s. There are many more brands available as well but Levi’s are always a popular choice for vintage jeans.
Once you purchase a pair of authentic vintage jeans, you want them to last as long as possible. After all that fabulous pair you bought has been around a while and is more likely to tear and fade when washing them. The best way to wash them is in cold water in the delicate cycle of your washer after turning them inside out. Then hang them to dry, or take them to the dry cleaners after wearing them a few times. Doing this will make those fantastic jeans last as long as possible.

From Levis to Versace, Jeans are Fashionable For All
Posted on 07. Jun, 2009 by denimgirl.
Jeans are certainly the most common item of clothing amongst people every where. Its not possible to go anywhere now a days without seeing a pair of jeans, and that includes day or night, and anywhere around the world.
Levis Jeans
Levis jeans have been the innovation leaders in jeans since 1873, the year they created the world’s first blue jean. They didn’t stop there. They’ve had an affect on every decade since, from active wear for women in the early 20th century, to lead the mundane business wear revolution of the Nineties with the Dockers brand, to providing everyday values with the Levi Strauss Signature brand.
Versace Jeans
Versace is one of the world’s leading international fashion houses. The Italian parent company of the Versace Group, Gianni Versace Spa., designs, markets and distributes lavish clothing, accessories, fragrances, make-up and home trappings under the various brands of the Versace Group. These brands include: Gianni Versace, Versus Versace, Versace Jeans Couture, Versace Ceramic Designs, Versace Classic, Versace Classic V2, Versace Sport, Versace Intensive, Versace Treasured Items, Versace Young and Palazzo Versace.
Versace’s Style Section employs a group of designers and stylists who work in teams specifically consecrated to each individual line. All of these teams operate under the close oversight and counselling of Creative Director, Donatella Versace.
To operate the highest quality, all Versace products are crafted by cautiously selected manufacturers. Versace collections are distributed through a network of 240 scoop boutiques, over One hundred fifty consecrated spaces in major section stores and duty-free areas, as well as a number of selective multi-brand boutiques in sixty countries.
Moschino Jeans
Moschino, a former artistry student, began his fashion vocation close to 1971 as a sketcher for Giorgio Armani, with whom he worked on collections for Beged’Or and Genny. Beginning in 1977 he designed for Cadette, launched his own line in 1983. Since then he has become known, if not universally admired, for his send-ups of conventional fashion thinking. he has sent pairs of models out on the runway in the same outfit, one wearing it as it would appear in a unplayful fashion presentation, the other as it might be worn on the street. He has also distributed fresh tomatoes to the hearing so they could let fly at any styles the disliked. He believes that people should take the common style and wear it their own particular style. His famous catch phrase- Who’s to say what is good taste?
These are just some of the jeans available today that range in extreme style and fashion. Whatever your flavor and flair, there is most certainly a pair of jeans out there to suit you.

Are My True Religion Jeans Authenic?
Posted on 06. Jan, 2009 by denimlicious.
True Religion Jeans is a high-end clothing line, created by Jeffrey and Kym Lubell in December of 2002. In addition to jeans, this American company, based in Los Angeles, also has shoes, t-shirts, jackets, blazers and other accessories
Real True Religion Jeans have pockets with horseshoe-shaped stitching, thick stitching, and a clear and detailed bright red Buddha on the outside of the pocket lining.
Watch out for True Religion fakes! There are people out there selling low quality jeans and trying to pass them off as True Religion Jeans. Don’t be fooled. Here are some things to watch out for:
- The horseshoe stitching on the back pockets should not have any straight lines at the bottom.
- The “J” on the tag inside should not be lower than the other letters in “Jeans”.
- If you’re buying from someone online, make sure the pictures are of the actual jeans and not from the True Religion website.
- Make sure the back pockets have flaps on all styles that are supposed to have flaps.
- If the price is extremely low, watch out, they could be True Religion fakes.
If you’re looking for True Religion Jeans discounted, True Religion disco jeans or True Religion Candice jeans your safest bet, to avoid buying True Religion fakes buy them directly from True Religion or from a well known retail store. If you do buy from someone else on online, be sure to check their history out first.
If you shop around you can find True Religion Disco Becky Big T, True Religion Gold Disco jeans, True Religion Cowgirl Destroyed and authentic True Religion mens jeans on sale. But once again, be careful who you are buying from.
