Nudie Jeans are like heavy metal music, rough, tough, amazing, and they absolutely rock hard! If you are not familiar with dry jeans, selvage or pre-washed jeans then Nudie jeans might take you by surprise at first- they are crisp, dense, and dark, and not fashioned yet like a typical pair of worn denim jeans. They are made to be worn hard and loved by your body. They actually change in time with wear and tear turning into the ideal pair, not to mention your favorite pair, of soft worn unique jeans.

Most people who purchase Nudie jeans, purchase them knowing that these jeans will get better day after day and that they will last an eternity (yes, really a long time). How do they get better? Well, just like most dry denim/selvage jeans, they need to worn… a lot, and not washed. Yes, you can wear them day after day after day and they will slowly begin to develop a personality and style all their own. They truly begin to morph into jeans created just to fit your body- check out these awesome photos of the guy’s denim jeans worn after 2 months, 6 months, and even 8 months.  http://www.nudiejeans.com/blog/

We all know that trends come and go, fashionable, comfortable denim jeans will always be in style. Whether you’re a rock star, CEO, or just a guy looking for a pair of jeans you can rely on day after day, these Nudies are for you. The fabrics come in raw, dry, organic, and original whichever appeals to you more and they offer several styles for both women and men in classic fit, slim style, button fly, and more. Check out this fun animated video below about washing your Nudie Jeans, and enjoy learning the ‘naked truth about denim’.

“You gotta wash.. wash.. wash your jeans…” Singing… yes, silly video… but totally cute right? Also, I noticed a lot of questions regarding warm or cold water. When in doubt- go with cold… delicious denims 2 cents!

Men’s Skinny Jeans Are a Fashion Do!

Bullhead Jeans - Mens - Dillon Skinny Jet Black JeansA few years ago when men’s skinny jeans entered mainstream fashion, it looked like it was just a fad that would easily go away after men have had enough of the often tight fit from the waist to the ankles. Plus, it took a while for many men to warm up to the idea of other men wearing very thin, tight jeans that were normally just seen on women.

Despite such perceptions, however, men’s skinny jeans are gaining ground in street and runway fashion. And we are not just talking about punk rock bands, skaters and BMX bikers either! Celebrities like Justine Timberlake and Zach Efron wear skinny jeans without fear of being labeled less than men. Many people debate whether to wear skinny jeans or not and what is right for them, but we say its a yes for almost everyone.

What makes men’s skinny jeans so popular nowadays?

Well, with their tapered legs and narrow ankles, skinny jeans emphasize the contours of the legs. Think of it as the men’s way of hiding flaws in their legs while still emphasizing their assets, which may or may not be their crotches. You decide. For example, if you have toned legs, then skinny jeans are the best way to show them off without undressing down to your boxers and birthday suit. But if you have less-than-Adonis-like limbs, then skinny jeans will nonetheless accentuate the assets while hiding the liabilities. The trick is in choosing the best style in men’s skinny jeans for your leg and body type.

Skinny jeans are very much popular for the younger set of males like skateboarders and BMX riders simply because the material, style and fit allow them to move more freely than the baggy style of jeans. Plus, there is no excess fabric that can get caught in the bike’s moving parts.

Yet another reason why skinny jeans are surprise hits amongst men is that there are many styles, fits and materials to accommodate just about every body type, fashion preference and physical activity. In fact, you will be initially confused with the terms provided by the manufacturers but with practice, you can easily give a few useful tips on men’s skinny jeans yourself.

You will see men’s skinny jeans from major denim manufacturers in all shades of blue and black using materials as diverse as denim, spandex, and stretchable corduroy. You can even find skinny jeans in various lengths from capris to jeans with an extra length on the ankles for the scrunched-up look. And then there is the cost of the skinny jeans. Most of these jeans are very affordable with price starting at just $30 from levi’s, pacific sunwear, or many major department stores. Designer skinny jeans can range as high as $400 for a single pair.

Of course, not everybody is suited to wear men’s skinny jeans. But if you are one of the lucky individuals, then we think keeping the look simple with a clean shirt and casual shoes looks best.

A neat video on how large scale manufacturers create a pair of jeans in all of 12 minutes and 1500 pairs of jeans in a day. Most designer jeans require more distressing and a lot more time, hence the reason they cost more. This video is interesting to watch though, or so I thought.
