Boyfriend Jeans Fashion and Style

If you’ve ever taken the time to look at your boyfriend’s jeans, you likely recognize that they are tight around his butt and the legs are relaxed. His jeans appear to be loose and comfortable and you want a pair just like them. The problem is that men’s sizes don’t typically work well for women and the cut is off. However, thanks to the Boyfriend Jeans, you can get that great look and feeling, while still shopping women’s clothing sizes.

Celebrities have begun appearing in these baggy jeans and showing women they can look great in this new style. When you are trying on these ladies jeans, know they are mean to fit snug around the waist, just below the belly. They should then run down the length of your leg to just above the ankle and remain loose around it. The style is very casual and should appear to be loose and slightly baggy on your body. While you have these jeans on, you need to note that there are three basic styles that you will be able to select from. To make the look remarkable, include a simple fitted shirt or a sweater- belts are great with this style as well.

The first is a basic jean that is slightly faded. When you look at this jean, it will look like something you picked up out of your boyfriend’s dresser drawer. The faded look will appear as if the jean has been worn several times. It will still be a darker blue color, but not as bright as a new pair of jeans.

Your second option will be a distressed pair of jeans. This will have some scratches in the jean and will be faded. The jeans will appear to be older and normally the fading will be heaviest around the knee area. Similar to the style you see with construction workers.

Your final option is a ripped pair of jeans. These have shredded holes in them and look like an old pair of jeans your boyfriend had lying around. These are for the most casual events and say you are rebellious and fun.

When you look over the options you have, keep in mind that you should match the pair you wear to the events for which you are wearing them. You don’t want to wear the ripped style to a high end event, but for a time when personality needs to shine, you don’t want a simple faded pair. Keep this in mind and pick up one of each style. Skinny White Jeans, Delicious Summer Denim

With summer just right around the corner, one of the hottest styles and colors this season is white! White jeans give a clean, classic look and go great with any kind of top. I am in love with these super sexy and super skinny white jeans shown here by Wesc Jeans. They really make the transition from spring to summer super easy too.

White jeans are also ultra classy in the sense you can dress them up or dress them down and most people won’t even call them ‘jeans’ so you can probably get away with wearing them even at the office on a nice casual Friday. Delicious Denim Tip: White jeans can get dirty very quickly so be sure to wash them as soon as you can when a stain happens so it won’t set in. Never use bleach on jeans as it wears the material very thin, but a light spray of a stain remover is fine.
