There are so many awesome denim dresses out right now I am not sure which direction to even look! One thing is for certain, sexy denim dresses are super trendy and tres chic this summer season. Celebrities have been spotted all over Hollywood wearing denim dresses and not just to the coffee shop or walking around town- but to big premiers and social functions. Yes, denim has definitely made a breakthrough and become one of the hottest fabrics to be seen wearing these days.

A simple denim dress on a hot day can be very cute and perfect for a first date. A sexy denim cocktail dress, like this DKNY denim dress, can be the ideal item for a special night out. You can now replace your standard black cocktail dress this season and grab a cute little designer denim outfit and look fabulous. Plus, denim fabric is a bit thicker than other materials so as a sexy dress, it looks fantastic on most all body types, just keep the length in check and you will look divine.

It is so fantastic that women can throw on a denim dress and wear it from day to night with just a few simple changes as well. During the day try wearing a light or dark colored, simple, and casual denim dress with cute sandals or even flip flops. At night I’d opt for a slightly tighter fitting denim dress with a sexy thick belt around the waist and toss on some heels; if its a chilly night then grab that chic black jacket and wear it, just keep the jacket on the shorter side.

They spent the day watching a performance of Dance Brazil followed by lunch at City Bakery. Katie was wearing a pair denim shorts and black leggings- perfect way to wear shorts until summertime hits!

Frayed Denim Shorts and super short shorts are really hot right now. Even if you are not ready to wear them or feel a bit uncomfortable, throw on a short or long pair of leggings and some cute shoes and its a winner for this season’s trends.

Celebrity Summer Style is Casual in Denim Shirts

Denim shirts have been an enduring fashion for casual or for formal wear for decades now. Though they don’t rage as much as denim jeans do, denim shirts keep coming against odds in the fashion world, appearing in regular intervals. As a matter of fact, it seems every individual has a denim shirt in his/her closet.

As denim is timeless, denim shirts are a style considered by many people as part of their fashion sense. Men and women alike enjoy wearing denim shirts. Even kids are also sporting denim shirts. They are embraced by many as a laid-back style that tends to loosen up one’s self after a long week’s work in formal business attire. Previously, denim shirts were considered to be the fashion style of cowboy country; however, as time goes on, they have become part of urban metro wear. Women have also been sporting denim shirts with tailored-type ones that define casualness and sexiness. The tight-fitting denim shirts with copper stud buttons have always been a woman’s priced possessions.

Meanwhile, what makes denim shirts more appealing to the people is based on the mere fact that celebrities are sporting denim shirts for casual engagements and functions. For men, the likes of Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp, if they are not in their strictly formal get-up, are frequently seen with denim shirts or denim pants. Fashion icons Victoria Beckham and Madonna make themselves ooze with sexiness in denim shirts. Country singers Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Sheryl Crow also give more character to denim shirts. And seen in this photo; Alexa Chung who graces the March issue cover of British Vogue on stands now. Inside the magazine she discusses her love for denim, as she writes; “Denim is a symbol of youth, sex, rebellion and, most essentially, America,”.

Whether you are a celebrity or not, you should be aware that everything still boils down to the matters of comfort and style. You should keep in mind that true fashion sense is not a question on what is in or not, but it is more on having a character by taking comfort first over style.

The Wide Leg Jean, A Must For all Body Types

The wide leg jean is super flattering on almost any body type, especially those with some curves in a nice dark denim color. Perhaps that is why all of Hollywood, including Jessica Alba, Sandra Bullock, and Brooke Shields, have been seen wearing the bottom-flattering, wide-legged jean styles. The wide leg jean style is definitely hot right now and a shape not to be feared. There’s hardly a jean that’s more figure-flattering for all kinds of body types.

Pair the wide leg jean with a cute fitted top and you can wear it day or night.  Our suggestion is to watch the hem line on it, you don’t want to have invisible feet. You want the jean to accentuate your length, so it should really only cover about 75% of your shoe.  Much more than that and you risk making the style look a bit baggy and odd.
