Hudson Jeans Military Flap Pocket Cargo Jeans : Hudson Jeans WomenThe popularity of denim has remained unfazed for decades; possibly due to the flexibility and the variety offered by this fabric. It can be modeled into any style, design, or garment depending upon your preference.

There are different types of denim, with the recent addition being designer denim. Designer denim is available in many different styles. Items such as denim tops, shoes belts, jackets, pants and even denim skirts are available. These designer denim outfits not only look chic, they also offer comfort that is hard to find in other clothing materials. Denim clothing comes in a variety of sizes and shapes as well, from small to plus sizes and can be worn for most any occasion. It is also possible to embellish denim in a number of ways, some can be found with sequins, embroidery, crystals and patches; for some even rips and tears are the enhancements desired for that smart and fashionable look.

The best part about designer denim is that they last longer and are always in fashion. Dress it down for a casual outfit or jazz it up with some glitter and glitz for a more formal affair. Designer denim jackets give more than just a classy look they also offer a way to keep you warm when there is a slight chill in the air. Whether it is the stone washed faded style, acid washed wrinkled look or the look of sand washed denim, you can choose the fashion style denim that suits your mood and event.

Long lasting, cool, durable and forever in fashion are some of the reasons why people prefer designer denim despite the price tag. Though they seem expensive, they are cheaper in the long run, because you can use them for almost everything!

5 Ways To Keep Your Desinger Denim Looking Great

Posted on 01. Jun, 2010 by denimlover.

Paige Premium Denim Laurel Canyon in SumatraMany people buy denim clothing just because they last and last, and they actually like the fact that their denim jeans, or denim jacket gets older, worn down, and soft- some jeans are actually made for this, but their are many people- myself included that enjoy buying a nice pair of designer jeans that fit and look perfect and I want to do everything I can to keep them looking amazing. So below are a few tips to help you keep your designer denim looking great.

1. Clean Them Carefully. Make sure to wash your new (or old) designer denim in cool water with a small load. Never try and wash more than a few denim items together at once. Denim is a rough material so it is better to wash it in small batches with other clothing items. For a full description on how to wash designer jeans check your labels as well.

2. Be Choosy. So, it’s your nephew’s 5th birthday today and the party is at the Crazy Clown house down the street. Regardless of which hotties might be there, I’d advise against wearing your sexy designer denim gear and go with something super easy to wash, as you are almost guaranteed to get a few spills and stains!

3. Avoid the Rain. I am sure once or twice you have been stuck out in the rain with your denim jeans and noticed how awful it is, right? Well, it can be awful for your denim as well! When you wear wet denim it is stiff and uncomfortable and you have to twist and move around more than normal just to walk. This will stretch your jeans out in places that you might not want there to be stretch and it could possibly ruin your jeans. So, be careful when in the rain and if you do get them wet, take them off to hang dry as soon as you can.

4. Store Your Denim Neatly. Its best to keep denim off the rack so to speak. Avoid coat hangers and clips that will leave unwanted marks and creases on your clothes. It is best to store them just as you see in the shops- fold one leg over the other so the that the zipper or buttons are inside the fold, then fold them in half lengthwise, then again. Alternate the direction of the fold makes for an even stack.

5. Don’t Share.
You just bought an amazing pair of Paige Premium Jeans and your roommate wants to borrow them… well, now you can tell her no and give her a reason why. When you wear a pair of designer jeans they mold to your body. They adjust to your curves, crease perfectly where your knees are, and the material will stretch to greet each area that might need a bit more support. Your jeans will become molded to your body shape and fit you like a glove, but when you allow someone else to wear your jeans, they lose that molded shape and sometimes never regain that perfect fit ever again. This also stands to reason with denim dresses, denim vests, and the likes.

With baggy jeans, it’s all about comfort. Don’t think that just because you are wearing baggy jeans you can become a slouch. It’s understandable that you don’t want to feel your clothes clinching you in all of the wrong places, however, do not use this as an excuse to be slouchy. Baggy jeans will allow you to be comfortable and look good without having to cut off your circulation in order to do so. Just be comfortable and relax. You can adjust your look accordingly.

A Day on the Beach Boardwalk

Ah, this is relaxation at its finest. It’s just you and a couple of friends kicking back and enjoying all of the sights, sounds and food on the boardwalk. This outing demands comfort. A pair of dark denim baggy jeans and a white tee would ensure a high level of comfort and also make you look good on the beach, at the restaurant, or just walking around. Add a couple of slip on flip flops and a pair of your favorite sunglasses and you are ready for a day in the sun.

Casual and Comfortable Denim Style- The Cropped Jeans

Posted on 30. Apr, 2010 by denimlover.

Nicole Scherzinger Leaves Armani Exchange On April, 29, 2010 In West Hollwood, CADenim Designers are always starting new trends in fashion and many times we see these new styles on celebrities before they even hit the stores – mainly because designers know exactly where to go when showcasing their new collections- celebrities! We love to see what the newest celebrity style and what the hottest celebs are wearing, this time it may be a bit surprising, however.
Cropped jeans or pants that are a tad on the shorter side are in style, and in a big way. The lengths range anywhere from pants that reach right at ankle length, to slightly higher, and then rolled up casually even a bit higher. They also range in styles from skinny jeans, to straight leg, to casual baggy jeans; each offering a different appeal.

This fashion trend makes me laugh a bit as I used to get teased if I wore pants a tad too short when I was young (my grandpa used to call them floods), but now… its perfectly fine! The great thing about this style is really you get two looks in one. You can wear the jeans straight with a cute pair of flats- just like Nicole Scherzinger (the lead signer of the Pussy Cat Dolls) or you can roll them up and give them a bit more of a casual feel- perfect for a weekend away at the beach house, biking around town, or strolling through the park. These jeans are truly practical right now and make a fun personality statement.

This Season’s Denim Clothing Trend is… Anything Goes!

Posted on 23. Apr, 2010 by denimlover.

Genetic Denim The Ryder Denim in Genetic Denim The Ryder Denim in Ol’ Vintage DarkThe denim trends for 2010 are hotter than ever. Denim has long been a trendy favorite for the fashionable, but this season will introduce a few surprises. When it comes to the 2010 season, everything goes. People are wearing denim in many different ways this season. Denim is no longer restricted this spring or summer. With the right know how, you can wear denim in any form, shape or color.

Faux Pas or Hot?

Jeans come and jeans go. In the past, during these different fashion transitions, you had to follow the lastest magazines to know if you were in style or not. Jeans were no exception. Should they be low or high risers? Should you wear them baggy or skin tight? For the 2010 spring season just about anything goes. However you choose to wear your jeans will be considered fashionable. If you want to wear them torn and ripped, skinny, slouchy or in a slimming silhouette form, there are plenty of options.

Making a Comeback

MiH is a British brand of jean that is making a comeback with stars like Rihanna and Jessica Alba sporting their many different styles. What is considered surprising about this particular brand of jean is that it is considered to be a retro style jean. One of the first celebrities to sport these jeans was Farrah Fawcett. They were fashionable then and they are fashionable now. You just have to use them to fit into your particular style.

This brand of jean has selections that are made for everyone and not just models. There are cuts and rises that fit every different body type. There was a time that no one wanted to wear high cut or high rise jeans. These jeans were associated with older women and were called “mommy jeans.” However, this is no longer the viewpoint today. Whatever type of denim cut suits your purpose for comfort and style is considered fashionable for the 2010 season. The MiH brand has many different styles and rises to choose from that will flatter everyone.

Particular Trends

The trend is to let go and wear what makes you happy. Nothing is a faux pas; however, there are a few trends that are slowly emerging. Frayed short shorts, edgy denim jackets are big, sexy white jeans are a popular summer trend, and loose fitting boyfriend jeans (Genetic Denim jeans shown in photo) are still very fashionable, but they are even more desirable in bleached or distressed denim for the 2010 spring season. Unlike other seasons where torn and ripped denim have been worn, this season introduces a surprising twist and the sexier you can be in your torn and bleached jeans the better. Match your jeans with a hot belt and some sassy shoes and you are set.

Denim is a staple, but change it up a little. Go against the trends of the past. Instead of blue denim try a light or white denim. This is a very hot trend of the 2010 spring season. Pair white jeans with a white tee shirt and colorful accessories. Or, go for another trend this season and wear denim on denim. This has also been considered a faux pas in the past, but can wear your denim however you want to wear it. Be creative. If you mess up, just start over again. When it comes to denim, nothing will be considered unfashionable this season.
